This stunning vintage Boujaad rug has been handcrafted by the Boujaad tribe in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Boujaad rugs often have patterns of small geometric shapes and stars. These soft, striking pieces are produced with soft wool incorporating various pink, red, orange and purple dyes derived from henna and indigo.

Each rug is individually handcrafted and maybe slightly asymmetrical in their shape and pattern with some minor imperfections. These vintage rugs can be between 20-60 years old and have varying amounts of repair as well as wear and tear appropriate to the age of the rug. All rugs are cleaned prior to leaving Morocco.

The images may appear brighter or slightly warmer than in person, although every attempt has been made to present images as true to colour as possible.
